We’re Looking For An: Employer Brand & Engagement Intern to assist Golden Hippo’s Employer Branding & Employee Engagement team with recruitment marketing, employee engagement, internal communications, and employer branding initiatives to ensure that Golden Hippo and its sister companies are an employer of choice. This will be accomplished through the creation of engaging social media and third-party content that convey Golden Hippo’s unique and thriving company culture. Posts will consist of content gathered through the outreach and collection of employee testimonials and reviews.

Location: Woodland Hills, CA or Remote

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Create engaging and strategic social media content across three different companies on social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok.
  • Create employer branding content for our external partners (Glassdoor, Indeed, BuiltIn, and Comparably) to help drive company awareness on sites.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to ensure Golden Hippo and its 3 sister companies are keeping up with trending recruitment marketing initiatives and continuing to be a top employer of choice!
  • Support company-wide employee engagement projects, (e.g. referral raffle program, work anniversary program, diversity events, etc.).
  • Collaborate on the creation of our monthly, company-wide company newsletters.
  • Conduct a job description and candidate-communication audit to ensure that all templates are up-to-date, engaging, and most importantly, inclusive.
  • Help manage and improve our company websites.

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

  • Rising senior status at an accredited 4-year university.
  • Majoring in Marketing, Communication or a similar/related field.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and G Suite.
  • Proficiency with Canva is preferred but not required and will be taught during the internship.
  • Some type of previous work/internship experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated research and problem-solving skills.
  • Quick learner with the ability to juggle multiple assignments.
  • Proven organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Maintain employee confidentiality.
  • Relevant coursework or professional experience.
  • Experience creating social media content, preferred.
  • High school & some college
  • Junior/Senior in college, preferred.
