Four-year university students who are working in a technical internship role at hp during their study or in summer breaks between university semesters.

Education And Experience Required

High School Degree 3rd Year of University completed–typically a technical degree specialization.

As an Employee Experience Intern you will be part of the Employee Experience team collaborating with Product and Technology groups across the company to create seamless end to end experiences for HP’s employees.. In this role, you will use employee-related data and insights that support making valuable reengineering recommendations that will enable enjoyable employee experiences. If this sounds exciting and energizes YOU, here are some responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for supporting department employee experience teams and relationships related to delivering experiential results and creating repeatable processes that evolve with the needs of our employees. Some examples of this include but are not limited to:

  • Understand existing experiences by seeking employee data from direct observation, conversations, surveys and focus groups to develop insights into employee wants and needs.
  • Help identify and track business and employee experience metrics that correlate to our employees’ outcome/effort/experience performance
  • Collaborate on employee experience improvement efforts, using human-centered design methods and co-creation to ensure we solve the right problems for our employees.
  • Support creating artifacts and visualizations (journey maps, service blueprints) that help business stakeholders build employee empathy & understand experiences
  • Support the teams with employee experience wireframes and task flows, as needed
  • Collaborate with HR and Employee Experience teams to create intuitive, employee user interfaces Education and Experience Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Business, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Engineering or a related area of study. Minors or coursework in design thinking and/or innovation is also acceptable. Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
  • Problem Solving: Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensures comprehensive understanding and effective resolution, applying systems thinking in the approach
  • Knowledge pursuer: Brings a thirst for learning, willingness, and confidence to step out of the comfort zone to take on new opportunities and gain and grow from new experiences.
  • Relationship builder: Easily builds rapport with others, quickly establishing a strong sense of confidence and trust.
  • Empathy: Passionate about understanding people and providing an excellent experience.
  • Strong Communications Skills: This includes written (prose), PowerPoint and live presentation skills.
