Part of Wholesale Banking the unit is responsible for facilitating Corporate Banking Business UnitsBU by efficiently managing all credit related requests drafting proposals analyzing risks mitigants ensuring timely renewal of accounts PD monitoring EAR account management thereby enabling Business to manage capital efficiently maximizes earning and accepts risk that is within the risk acceptance criteria of the Bank UAE Central Bank Regulatory Norms

To augment the purpose of the existence of the Unit through superior engagement with Relationship Team Credit Managers Management other stakeholders efficient handling of problems providing effective solutions that benefits Business while safeguarding interests of the banks becoming a team player to work towards the Organization goals
Detailed Description:
Obtaining all requisite information from BUs for FA preparation (NTB/ Enhancement/ Amendments)
Understand & analyze underlying risks pertaining to the deal (credit risk/ business risk/ security risk/ management risk/ repayment risk etc.)
Understand various parameters pertaining to the underlying industry (contracting/ service/manufacturing/finance house)
Analyze financials, cash flows, repayment capacity of the obligor
Engage with BU in effective deal structuring covering all possible risks related to the deal. Often to engage with the client to understand their requirements
Preparation of FA/ Memo/EGLs covering all aspects (Bank’s Credit policy/ regulatory aspects/ UAE CB framework/ audit aspects) for onward submission to Approval Authority/ WB Credit enabling smooth decisioning & minimal queries
Handling credit queries related to the proposals
Often deal with Syndication team for club deals
Ensuring timely renewal of accounts by way of obtaining renewal information from RMs & avoiding any overdue position in the Business Control Monitoring Forum (BCMF)
Proactive monitoring of assigned portfolio through proper follow ups with BUs to ensure minimal PD occurrence, timely inclusion in EARs, undertake remediation measures & monitor ECL saves
Qualifications
Person Specifications :
Credit Analysis, Financial Analysis, Trade Finance, Islamic Finance, Treasury products
Strong engagement with Relationship Team, prioritizing responsibilities.
5+ years’ experience in Credit analysis function preferably in UAE
