Director of Supply Chain

The Director of Supply Chain will lead Distribution and Fulfillment, Inventory Management, Assembly (Materials Management), Demand Planning, Purchasing and oversee a 3PL partner in the US. The role will appeal to an experienced supply chain professional with deep knowledge of production and the full spectrum of supply chain, particularly demand planning in a high-volume environment. The Director of Supply Chain will thrive in a high growth dynamic environment where they can work on strategic initiatives but also roll up their sleeves and troubleshoot issues.

The Director of Supply Chain will report to the Owner/General Manager and be responsible for setting and leading the strategic direction of supply chain operations and the execution of operational supply chain functions. They will lead all Teams within the Supply Chain Division and have overall responsibility for achieving order fulfillment goals, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and cost control objectives. They will also collaborate with Senior Leaders in Marketing and Communications, Sales and Business Development, Finance, Information Services, Operations and Organization Development, and Product and Education.

The Director of Supply Chain will have a continuous improvement mindset and work collaboratively with all functional teams in supporting the company’s continued growth. The Director of Supply Chain will be a strategic thinker capable of developing, influencing, communicating, and energizing a large, complex team. They will be an exceptional leader who is highly supportive and responsive.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a senior leader of a global supply chain function similar in complexity and size; experience in a multi-national manufacturing business; and experience working with and implementing an ERP or WMS. An APICS Supply Chain Designation, Lean Six Sigma, and/or PMP Certification is desirable.
