EMEA HR Benefits Analyst fluent in English and German – 3814

This is a newly created role that provides support for our European benefit programs, harmonization projects and growth initiatives for a multi-national company in +38 countries with global headquarters in Melbourne Australia and major sites in Europe. Reporting to the Associate Director of EMEA Benefits, the position will support the EMEA benefit programs including risk benefits, pension, financial and wellbeing activities and work closely with the Global Benefits team to drive CSL’s Total Rewards Strategy. This role works closely with HR and EMEA Shared Services to address employee inquiries and escalations.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Support the research, analyses, evaluation, development, and administration of benefits plans and programs which are competitive, equitable and align with company’s philosophy and regulatory compliance.
  • Supports manager with program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation and communication of new and existing programs and projects.
  • Supports with annual renewals, year-end processes, health, and welfare for large countries.
  • With supervision, takes responsibility for renewals in small countries.
  • Participates in benefit studies to ensure local market competitiveness.
  • Researches and responds to employees’ questions regarding interpretation of benefits plans, eligibility, covered services and exclusions.
  • Managing day-to-day activities with Global Benefits provider.
  • Internal point of contact for EMEA based Tier 3 escalated issues across all benefits for the EMEA Shared Service Center

Education And Past Experiences

  • Requires Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in EMEA benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, voluntary plans, pension plans and wellbeing programs.
  • Experience with Workday desired
  • Experience working in a matrix environment.
  • Good analytical skills
  • Strong written, verbal and listening skills, able to interface with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills necessary
  • Must be a professional with a can-do attitude, hands on professional, eager to learn, contribute and grow.
  • Must be a team player who can build strong relationships with the global HR team and other departments.
  • Language skills: Proficient in English, fluent in German
