The unit has a 90-year history within BD and is unique as it focuses on one disease which is a threat to world health with products like insulin syringes, pen needles and sharps containment. Our injection devices provide 2/3rd of the worldwide insulin injections, serving our 30+ million global patient base.

Job Description
As EMEA Supply & Demand Planner, you will sit on the EMEA Supply Chain organization and will be based in Eysins (VD) Switzerland.
The Demand and Supply Planner will play an active role in translating the key elements of the business strategies into tactical functional initiatives to meet the service and objectives across all regions. As the owner of the regional demand planning process, you will lead and coordinate the monthly demand consensus by region for the businesses by actively engaging the marketing and finance community as key participants.
You will be in contact with a wide variety of functions internally (Supply Chain, Project teams, Marketing, Finance, plant…), both at European and Worldwide level, using the collaboration model with Countries and Region to drive a more efficient S&OP process.
Main Responsibilities Will Include
Demand Planning
Actively contribute and support the development and implementation of the regional business strategy in the demand planning functional area
Developing good statistical models using the SCM DP/SP and demonstrating its usage in Demand/Supply Consensus for products forecasted at regional level.
Handling communication and coordination across the regional marketing and finance areas as well as across country sales and marketing teams, if any supply issues occur
Own the monthly demand reviews with countries/hubs to ensure cross-functional alignment
Driving Product Classification in terms of volume & value share, demand volatility and strategic importance of certain product groups
Proactively identify risks and opportunities throughout the regional Demand Consensus process as well as the S&OP process.
Supply & Inventory planning
Responsible for regional service level achievement for assigned product groups in alignment with global recommendations
Ensure the supply of materials meet all requirements and minimum stock levels to ensure production continuity to meet customer demand, production build targets, and finished goods safety stock.
S&OP process facilitation and Business performance management
Facilitate the Regional Demand/Supply Review and represent the region in the Regional S&OP meetings and in the WW Demand Review: ensure timely collection and review of the appropriate information required for this forum to accurately determine regional production plan, eliminate any inefficiencies potentially impacting the key metrics and jointly contribute to decisions to ultimately determine global production
Being responsible for the Regional Key Metrics/Forecast Accuracy to attain the highest level of performance for the assigned product groups and assisting in management of cost through achieving those metrics.
About You
BA/BS in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Logistics or related degree (Master’s Degree or MBA preferred)
Proven experience in demand, supply & inventory planning required
End-to-End Supply Chain and regional networks’ experience + understanding of the 5 steps of the S&OP Process
ERP experiences to include APO, SCM DP/SP or other tools
Advanced Excel skills, strong data analytics and statistical abilities.
APICS CPIM certification is a plus. Solid understanding of project management and CI tools (i.e., Lean Techniques, Six Sigma) would also be a plus.
Proficient level in English is required
