This is a rolling contract starting no later than November an running until 30 June 2025 with potential to extend (sometimes up to five years).
Joining a small and diverse cross functional team supporting various trading applications in the bank, the BA will undertake analysis of business processes and document business requirements for implementation in FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Platform (formerly Front Arena) and integrations to other IT systems.
The project is about mid-way and the Business Analyst will work alongside another Business Analyst who is already working on the project. This is a crucial project for the Bank and has high visibility in Banking Management.
- Analyse and design business processes around the treasury applications. Translate business requirements into business and technical specifications, employing best industry practice. Interact with the relevant design teams with regard to translating requirements into detailed system specifications.
- Advise and participate in the development of test plans for business applications and the execution thereof. Coordinate and support business area acceptance testing for Trading Application projects.
- Interacts with the other IT groups in the organisation for systems design, integration, standards and change management.
As the ideal candidate you are a Senior HR Business Analyst with Workday experience and a strong interest in projects, HR Data, processes and systems able to work in a cross-functional team set-up. Our client looks for a versatile candidate, with strong interpersonal skills.
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience
- Around five years’ business analyst experience in a banking environment.
- In depth knowledge of electronic trading solutions
- Experience with FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk Platform (formerly Front Arena) is advantageous
- Be familiar with full trade transaction lifecycle, with a focus on Front Office processes.
- Experience with agile methodologies e.g. working with agile ceremonies.
- A proven track record of participating in large, business-critical projects that delivered satisfaction to stakeholders.
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- Experience with the secure software development lifecycle is a plus
- Familiarity with Elastic Stack, querying alerts and logs is a plus
- Experience with trading applications eg Findur is a plus
