Electronic Technician Intern

The ideal candidate will be a second year or higher. The ability to quickly learn and apply new knowledge in dynamic situations is critical.

The Electronic Technician intern will learn and participate in:

• Reading test schedule, work orders, test manuals, performance specifications, wiring diagrams, and schematics to determine testing procedures and equipment to be used.
• Calibrating test instruments, verifying master software according to specifications.
• Analyzing and interpreting test data to ensure product meets the specifications of the associated test procedure.
• Connecting electronic assembly, component or firmware to test equipment such as ohmmeter, voltmeter, ammeter, oscilloscope, disk copier, curve tracer, multimeters, power supplies or to automatic or computerized test equipment and reads instrument dial, scope, viewing screen, or digital displays.

Position Requirements

• Education: 2-year Associates degree in progress.
• Experience in electronic systems
• Writing skills to accurately document data and observations from testing
• Support in administrative tasks such as data entry and collection.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications.
