Electrician – Evening Shift

Overview

Maintain, inspect, repair, and install hospital electrical equipment, and communication systems. Includes emergency generators and associated switchgear and support equipment, 480 volt and lower distribution equipment including motor control centers, and automatic transfer switches and control devices such as Variable Frequency drive units. Also responsible for installation of new circuitry for lighting and convenience circuits.

Requirements

Required Education/Experience: – High school graduate or equivalent. – Minimum five (5) years experience in construction, installation, or maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Required Credentials: – Current Washington State Electrical Journeyman card. Preferred: – Hospital or medical equipment maintenance experience.
