Salary: $54,500 – $92,500

Description

Our client is seeking an Electrical ITS Engineer to provide technical support to craft and supervision on the project. This position also supports Quality by providing quality oversight in their daily activities, as required.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform construction engineering work requiring application of standard construction engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in performing a sequence of related construction engineering tasks
  • Assist craftsmen and foreman with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings
  • Perform surveillance/examinations, if required, to ensure that the quality objectives are being met for the project
  • Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • DOT project experience is preferred
  • Accredited Construction Management degree or global equivalent
  • 2+ years of work-related experience
  • Typically, has 3 years of project experience
  • Ability to speak/read multiple languages
  • Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email, as well as the basic use of spreadsheets
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
