Electrical Foreman/Superintendent

We are currently seeking experienced electrical foreman and superintendents! A clean driving record and Class A CDL is preferred.

We work with both corporate clients and government entities and maintain yearly contracts with Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Volusia counties, as well as the Florida Department of Transportation. We are fully licensed and bonded and offer on-site estimating and competitive bidding.

Chinchor Electric is a Commercial/Industrial Electrical company. We perform heavy Industrial Electrical, Highway Lighting, and Traffic Signalization. Chinchor offers apprenticeship and training through Florida Electrical Apprenticeship & Training (FEAT). Chinchor will pay for this 4-year program. Chinchor also covers the cost of traffic certification classes for their employees such as Crane Certification(rigging, signaling, operating), and MOT. Electrical Foreman/Superintendent Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers or other components
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of all systems.

• Industrial experience with water/waste water treatment plant, motor control centers, VFD‘s, and PCC‘s preferred.

• Work Cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
• Multitask

Electrical Foreman/Superintendent Physical Demands

• Safe worker with clean driving record
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance;
• Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift;
• Communicate with employees, managers, subordinates and guests through verbal communication, hearing ability and visual acuity.
