The Challenge: What if you could use your engineering skills to transform the Intelligence Community? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to on-site, electrical engineering, research, development and test support to ATI7 at CCAFS with a focus on signal processing. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to use advanced tools like IDAPro, BinaryNinja, and JTAG, and debug introspection tools. Our team serves as a signal-processing expert across multiple phenomenologies, with a specific focus on radio frequency and other forms of communication. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer. Our team requires a strong understanding of the fundamentals of digital signal processing with a focus on radio frequency and software defined radios. Position requires significant knowledge and demonstrated experience in designing, and applying digital filters to incoming and outgoing signals, implementing filters in hardware and software, and making rapid judgments regarding the evaluation, design, and creation of sensors, and communication systems to help us design and develop the tools that aid the Defense Intelligence mission. You’ll provide technical advice to government project managers and engineers in support of rapid prototyping activities . You’ll directly impact defense in the maritime by provide expertise in reverse engineering electronic devices and modules. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and mentoring junior staff. You Have: * Experience with electrical engineering, research, development and test support with a focus on signal processing, with a specific focus on radio frequency and software defined radios * Experience with designing and applying digital filters to incoming and outgoing signals, implementing filters in hardware and software, and making rapid judgments regarding the evaluation, design and creation of sensors and communication systems * Experience with reverse engineering, and with flash memory systems, microcontrollers, microprocessors, operating systems, and files systems * Experience with bus interfaces, including I2C, SPI, CAN, OBD2, Ethernet, Serial, PCI, and JTAG * Ability to, with little documentation, extract firmware from electronic and computer systems, disassemble the firmware, and recover the implemented algorithms * Ability to use advanced tools, including IDAPro, BinaryNinja, and JTAG and debug introspection tools * Ability to understand vehicle telematics and maritime systems * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 11+ years of experience in electrical engineering Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
