I’m hiring an Electrical Engineer for an FTE position it can be HYBRID!! LOCATED IN VERSAILLES, OHIO JOB SUMMARY Design, develop, document and test electronic systems, components and circuits in Company products, both new products and modifications to existing ones. ESSENTIALPRIMARY DUTIES bull Independently evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications to printed circuit boards, cable assemblies and overall control systems. bull Lead assignments directed by specific instructions, objectives, complex features and unusual acceptance criteria. bull Analyze system requirements, customer needs, regulatory and standard compliance, device safety, device usability and cost with cross-functional consideration. bull Design and test printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, devices and systems. bull Document confidential descriptions and specifications of proprietary hardware and software, product development and introduction schedules, product costs, and information about product performance weaknesses. bull Provide technical guidance on moderate to complex problems. bull Advise cross functional team in the compliance to the regulatory norms and standards of the assignments. bull Influence the improvement of product development methods and techniques. bull Provide guidance among engineers and co-ops SECONDARY DUTIES bull Increase knowledge in aspects of electronics engineering. bull Recommend and implement improvements to Company electronics engineering processes. bull Contribute to the product roadmap with regard to technical trends. EDUCATION andor EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field required and 2-10 or more years of experience in a related field preferred. COMPETENCYSKILL REQUIREMENTS bull Ability to read bill of materials. bull Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. bull Ability to follow instructions. bull Ability to multitask and problem solve. bull Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Oracle preferred. PLM Agile preferred. bull Ability to prepare Test Protocols and Test Reports. bull Ability to analyze and interpret data. bull Attention to detail. bull Ability to work independently and collaboratively. bull Strong analytical and communication skills (written and verbal). bull Ability to read engineering documents. bull Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. bull Awareness of Lean principles and concepts. bull Knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations. bull Ability to mentor and share knowledge. bull Lead by influence throughout the organization. bull Ability to understand customer and market needs. bull Strong planning and organizational skills. bull Strong mathematical and technical abilities. bull Ability to lead and manage projects andor project teams. bull Ability to work with vague requirements and limited direct supervision. bull Proficient in the subject matter or the electronics areas of the assignments and influence the project team for the best practices related to that area. bull Knowledgeable of the fundamental theory and the practical application of engineering science and technology, especially electrical engineering. bull Ability to apply principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of medical devices and services. bull Knowledge of UL Standards. bull Familiar with system analysis, operation analysis, system evaluation, and quality control analysis. bull Experience with EDA software, Altuim or Mentor Graphics PADs preferred. bull Expert in tools used in the development of electrical components and systems in Company. bull Proficient with productivity tools.
