What You Will Be Able To Do
As an E/E Architecture Integration Engineer, you will have direct input into the design specification and requirements of Ford’s next evolution of electrical architecture. You will be joining a team that is delivering for the future right now. You must have broad electrical systems knowledge and a solid engineering foundation to successfully contribute in this new integration role as you will be working to clarify ambiguity and seeking answers to complex problems.
We are seeking professionals who can contribute to our efforts, and accumulated abilities must be able to identify a dependency or gap in electrical system interfaces and the persistence to bring together the necessary stakeholders to collaborate and resolve the concern. The systems you will integrate extended beyond the boundary of the traditional automobile, you must have a passion for learning new technologies, concepts and of course a passion for Ford Motor Company and our customers.
The Minimum Requirements We Seek
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of experience managing complex, cross disciplinary projects
- 8+ years integrating automotive electrical systems
Our preferred requirements:
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Broad knowledge base across electrical domains, systems, and product development phases
- Strong analytical, organizational and delegation skills to accomplish multiple objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse team with varied strengths
- Experience in the full product lifecycle for automotive electrical systems and electronic control units
- Experience with Ford product development applications; MS Office, Visio, JIRA, VSEM, FEDE, etc
- Experience with Systems engineering applications; SysML (MagicDraw), PREEVision, etc
- Experience with requirement management processes and applications; Polarion, Doors, etc.
- Experience coding software and understand different software architectures; SOA, microservices, etc
- Experience working with Agile and SAFe teams
