Prepare and conceptualize sketches, layouts, and schematics on a job to job basis.Responsibilities:Analyze requirements from customers and develop design solutionsPrepare bills of materialsDesign and develop cost analysis, test, handle implementation, analysis of products, systems, and new technologyProduce approval drawings and manufacturing drawingsDesign software test for special applicationsProcess feedback from manufacturingAssist marketing, manufacturing, and field service with engineering-related issuesOrganize instruction manualResearch STD data baseManage projects and design review systemImprove computers and design softwareDevelop and maintain engineering standards/processesTravel: Up to 115% to 25%%”
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer, ECE
- Accept MSEE or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, ECE or related.
- 3-5 years’ experience in power electronics design
- Experience working with switch mode power electronics such as DC-AC, DC-DC &AC-DC.
- Knowledge in magnetic design and embedded firmware is a plus.
- Strong organization and excellent time management skills.
- Computer skills required, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with power circuit simulator, such as PSIM, PSpice or MATLAB
