The Enterprise Technology team is looking for a solutions consultant to lead the delivery of ElasticSearch implementation initiatives. The successful candidate will be an important and significant part of our technology delivery team.

The opportunity

A typical day will rarely be the same but could be a mixture of coding, leading projects and teams, analysing data, presenting to clients, developing and delivering training, mentoring and learning about new technologies and analysis methods.

Your Key Responsibilities

The development of our technical capabilities and thought leadership within the Enterprise Search space will be a critical part of the role.

Skills And Attributes For Success

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Expert knowledge with the Elasticsearch platform- Ideally 3+ years of experience
  • Design and implement ELK (ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana) stack solutions
  • Prior demonstrable delivery experience with enterprise level ElasticSearch solutions delivery.
  • Create and manage Elasticsearch Clusters on Azure.
  • Expert knowledge in Java, memory management, fine tuning etc.
  • Ability to fine tune bulk load processes
  • Well versed with Java REST client API.
  • Experience upgrading Elasticsearch versions

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with some Adobe Experience Cloud solutions (Experience Manager, Platform and Marketo are of particular interest)
  • Top level knowledge of other MarTech / AdTech platforms e.g. DMPs, CDPs, GMP etc and how they work
  • Knowledge of data science techniques and languages such as Python
  • JavaScript / jQuery writing skills
  • Previous team member mentoring/management experience
  • Good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple client stakeholders of varying seniority and technical knowledge

Candidates should have a range of experience of leading and / or managing large digital platform delivery projects, excellent problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly and well, and know when to rely on internal resources to assist. Other qualities tat are of great value to our organization are strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills, verbal, presentation and written communication skills and prior experience managing offshore delivery and analysis teams.
