Social Media Video Creator

We’re looking for a Social Media Video creator to join our social media team in Zurich, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will use their love of design to forward our corporate mission of opening the world through education. To achieve this, the candidate must have the skills to create powerful short videos, animations, and on-trend content to engage our customers. We’re a friendly team who plays hard and works hard and loves nothing more than nerding out about new TikTok templates, trending sounds, advertising, marketing funnels, and turning digital insights into creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Be integrated into content workflow across our digital strategy/advertising/social media/content marketing teams
Work with our creative team to create and edit performance-oriented videos for major social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch
Use your creativity to take existing static media assets to create new motion graphics for use in social media advertising
Prioritize and manage your time effectively to collaborate in fast paced work environment and meet the deadlines, same day turnaround or weekly deadline
Create content with a strong understanding of motion graphics, music and text on video – for both square and vertical formats
Adapt visual content for over 50 countries in different languages

Core Competencies

Have a strong portfolio showcasing your creative thinking process as well as visually compelling and emotionally engaging design work. A portfolio with social media content example is expected
Be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Premiere and After Effect, Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus) and mobile video editing apps
Strong knowledge of social media platforms
Be known for your attention to detail, story telling ability, creativity, and time management skills
Be currently enrolled in, or a graduate of a relevant design program
