Norwegian Refugee Council

The Norwegian Refugee Council has been present in Ukraine since 2014, helping more than 700,000 people with food, shelter, water, sanitation, and legal assistance.

Today NRC is providing support to people affected by armed conflict and those fleeing in search of safety. NRC’s focus is to provide immediate humanitarian relief, including cash, shelter assistance, information counselling and legal aid. Owing to a rapid change of the situation inside Ukraine in February 2022, during which the whole country became affected by rapidly escalating conflict, NRC is now scaling up its emergency programmes and establishing new logistic and supply chains stretching from outside of Ukraine and inside across the whole country, from west to the east.

Ukraine is a complex emergency, requiring staff with experience of working in dynamic and insecure security contexts. You will bring to your work an independent and can-do attitude, as well as advanced communication and collaboration skills.
