Driver with Car – Duhok

Background

CESVI is an Italian NGO working for global solidarity. CESVI operates worldwide to support the most vulnerable populations in promoting human rights and achieving their ambitions, for sustainable development.

CESVI has been working in Iraq since 2018, focusing in the sectors of livelihoods, multi-purpose cash transfer, agriculture, food security, and protection.

The Project will be implemented in Erbil and Duhok Governorates.

Brief work profile and car specifications

CESVI is planning to rent an SUV Car with a Driver, which will be based in Erbil with frequent trips to Duhok. The Driver will be reporting to the Logistics Officer.

The driver will work 8 hours per day, 5 days a week.

CESVI working hours are 08:30-05:00 PM from Sunday to Thursday.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execution of driving duties as per instruction provided by the Operations Manager and in respect of the Organizations’ internal procedures and policies;
• In collaboration with the Operations Manager, preparing necessary movements plans;
• Ensuring that all vehicle movements (date, time, KM) are properly recorded in the car logbook;
• Collect and submit all the fuel invoices and payment vouchers;
• Ensuring maintenance of the vehicle on a monthly basis;
• Check the vehicle prior to its use on a daily basis;
• Ensure proper internal and external cleaning of the vehicle;
• Perform other related duties as required by the line manager.

STUDIES REQUIREMENTS: High School

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years’ driver’s License;
• At least 2 years working experience as a Driver for an NGO, private company, or as public employee;
• In-depth knowledge of the project areas;
• Knowledge in Mechanics is an added value;
• Spoken Basic English is an advantage.
