DoD SkillBridge – Product Quality Intern

The Military DoD SkillBridge program is an opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. These roles are unique opportunities for service members with authorization to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program as directed by their respective command. BRP is a DoD SkillBridge authorized participant.

This internship would allow the qualified candidate to participate in a learning program designed around training into a potential full-time opportunity of a role similar to the one in the description listed below. DoD SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from BRP, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Process and document potentially failed components from the field
• Review incoming Marine parts for boats and engines and assess failure modes through analysis and testing
• Research, create, and report failures to relevant internal parties.
• Requires coming up with quality documentation to facilitate the passage of information through the organization
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Routine maintenance of tooling and analysis equipment
• Support investigations into emerging quality issues by collaborating with cross functional teams.
• Basic analysis through historical data will be required with Excel and data tables

Qualifications

• Must be a military service member with authorization to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
