As a documentation specialist, reporting to the to the Laboratory Manager you will prepare technical documentation of the applied products and technology, coordinating the incoming contents, collaborating with external agencies, serving as a key technical documentation resource for the Engineering and Product Marketing

R&D Team Lead

Your responsibilities

  • Planning, editing, writing, and developing complete sets of technical documentation, thereby providing sufficient information and content in written (or other) form regarding the product/solution
  • Ensures that documentation is maintained in compliance with the company’s/project’s procedures, including format, receipt, registration, number, filing, recovery, and the issue of documents
  • Collaborating with technical colleagues across the organization to collect all relevant information to be used in technical documentation and partnering with them to clarify ambiguous topics
  • Collaborating with external agencies to improve documentation quality such as content layout editing, language translations and English proofreading
  • Supporting the Product Marketing department with ABB partner portal as well as for the partner access rights to the ABB library

Your background

  • A technical degree in electronic or electrotechnics (Technician degree)
  • Good familiarity with power electronic devices
  • Knowledge of business IT applications (Office) and documentation related software such as Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Fluent in English (C1), spoken and written
  • Collaborative attitude, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
