Collective Aid

Description

The Distribution Coordinator manages our distribution system and maintains our various warehouse spaces. They are responsible for maintaining accurate stock numbers and creating stock projections for upcoming months. They will work alongside Programmes Manager and Donations Coordinator to ensure our stock can best meet the needs gaps for people in Sarajevo.

Collective Aid in Bosnia and Herzegovina supports around 1000 people sleeping rough in and around Sarajevo. We provide non-food items like clothing, hygiene products, bedding items to the community. Bosnia is a key transit country for many people on their way to the European Union. We often hear reports of people being pushed back along the Croatian border where they often lose all of their belongings, creating a persistent need for material aid.

The Distributions Coordinator works directly with the Programmes Manager and Donations Coordinator to ensure that we have adequate stock to serve the needs of this population and the most efficient methods to meet the needs in a sustainable and responsible way.

Part of the role, since it is based in Sarajevo, is to be in contact, as much as possible with local organizations and business to foster a good flow of NFI donations coming from the local community. The Distributions Coordinator is in charge of keeping track of our M&E system (data analysis) which helps understand stock numbers, demographics, need, and current situation on the ground in a more analytical way.
