As a Distribution Center Manager, you oversee people and operations at LV Distribution Center in Jebel Ali.
Your key responsibility is to guarantee service levels and customer promises on all of LV Flows transiting through our Regional Distribution Center, with the best efficiency and operational excellence. You manage a team with the support of supervisors on the floor and, and ensure that they perform all inbound and outbound operations, within the leadtime, and the best quality, to sustain business needs.
You develop the team by focusing on individual performance management and support their needs to achieve high standards. You are responsible to recruit and build highly motivated teams, develop them to the next level and secure succession plans.
You work closely with Logistics, Supply Chain and Stores team. You also have interactions with After Sales and other HO departments on specific requests.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Ensure excellent service level is provided to both stores and end clients: with the best leadtime, quality and efficiency
Overview the daily pick, pack & ship activities for B2C & B2B for all sellable product categories
Provide excellent inventory and compliance in the stock picture
Secure the needful IS, IT and tools resources for efficient operations
Support other departments on storage and out of system products handling: Clienteling, VM, Operations
Manage external suppliers and contractors related to the Distribution Center operations
Develop team visibility and communicate on DC successes and results at HO level
Guarantee for the team to work in a safe, compliant and sustainable work environment
Share and implement Eco-responsible mindsets, practices and projects
PROJECTS & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Deploy the omnichannel strategy in our daily operations and support related projects
Ensure smooth tests, roll out and training for all Warehouse Of The Future projects
Build and develop tools and KPIs to follow up on the warehouse activity
Find areas of improvement and propose solutions to reach the best level of efficiency
Forecast the operational needs related to the business growth
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Set individual and team goals; proactively assess & manage performance against expectations
Ensure your team delivers their objectives and meet the targets
Support them with consistent coaching and onboard them on all strategic topics for the company
Identify their development and training needs to tailor individual action plans
Manage and motivate the team to drive business: create a positive and harmonious work environment, foster cooperation within the team and between supervisors
Build & size the team to be able to sustain business needs at all time
Anticipate peak seasons and local key events in the staff planning
Elevate the supervisors’ scope of responsibilities
Develop agility of skills among the team members
Profile
Over 5 years’ experience as manager or supervisor of a warehouse (Luxury company is a plus)
Experience in a multicultural work environment, fluent in English
Positive attitude towards working under pressure in a high workload context
Customer focused, Service oriented: good understanding of the impact of failure or low quality
Passion for managing people and finding the best in each individual
SKILLS
Leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
IS&T knowledges: WMS, Pack Office, SAP or PowerBi is a +
Analytical competences, problem solving
Planning skills and ability to meet targets and deadlines
Knowledge of JAFZA rules and regulations
