Dispatch

A position has recently become available for a Dispatcher to join our busy team based at Davmac in Sutton-in-Ashfield

Ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background of Warehouse or Automotive vehicle parts.

Responsibilities

Dispatcher

• The successful candidate will head a small warehouse team and be responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked and deadlines met by ensuring that products are prepared and ready for dispatch.
• Assign and plan routes for drivers to efficiently utilise the resources at hand
• Oversee the running of the warehouse and ensure that all processes and procedures are carried out correctly
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Essential requirements;

• Have familiarity with MAM Software and drivers board
• The successful candidate should have a minimum of 1 yrs warehouse/dispatch experience in a similar role.
• You must be good with numbers, have good organizational skills and be able to work on your own initiative as part of the busy team.
• You should have the ability to learn quickly and multi-task whilst being articulate with good communication & computer skills.
• Good social and Supervisory skills with a high level of attention to detail are essential.
