Here’s where you come in:

As World Vision International’s Director of Talent Acquisition (TA), you will lead and develop a highly proficient, global Talent Acquisition team of International Recruiters, Sourcing Specialists and Recruiting Coordinators. Motivated by our Christian faith, our TA mission is identifying great internal and external talent across the globe, to help World Vision keep Our Promise to the world’s most vulnerable children in nearly 100 countries.

You are an experienced and strategic international HR leader who will lead Talent Acquisition in developing and implementing team strategy, while continuously improving recruiting processes, tools, and resources. You will ensure the TA team structure is set up to best meet the global talent needs of World Vision. This will include further expanding the digitising of TA processes. You will also grow team knowledge and utilisation of Workday tools and metrics to better enhance World Vision’s ability to attract high performing talent in a competitive job market and sector.

You bring knowledge of how to extensively source for talent globally, preferably within the INGO and Microfinance sectors. You will provide high level customer service in recruiting executive, senior and mid-level leaders and technical experts (up to C-Suite level) for both World Vision International (WVI) and VisionFund International, World Vision’s microfinance provider.

To ensure success as the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will also position the WVI Talent Acquisition team as a Centre of Expertise within the World Vision Partnership, inspiring the team for exceptional delivery of positive recruitment and candidate onboarding experiences.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required as a minimum.
  • 10+ years’ Talent Acquisition work experience, preferably in both the INGO and for-profit sector.
  • 7+ years’ experience in recruitment of leadership, managerial and professional technical positions across multiple countries and cultures.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding, primarily within a global or multinational context.
  • Experience in planning and forecasting workforce staffing needs, including pipelining.
  • Proficiency with enterprise applicant tracking systems (similar to Workday), Microsoft Office, MS Teams and internet recruiting and sourcing.
  • A deep understanding and passion for recruitment, aware of the latest trends and global talent market.

Travel and work environment:

  • The position requires the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time.
  • The position requires flexibility to accommodate clients (candidates and leaders) in different time zones for scheduling meetings and supporting various recruitment outcomes.
