As the Director for Budget and Resource Management (BRM), you will be responsible for:

  • Corporate level resource-planning and execution processes at USAID.

  • Strengthening USAID’s strategic budgeting capabilities and inter-agency engagement to prioritize investments informed by policy priorities and anticipated impacts.

  • Providing advice and guidance to the USAID Administrator by recommending sound budget and resource-allocation strategies for the Agency.

  • Coordinating closely with the Bureau for Policy, Planning, and Learning and the Agency’s senior leadership to consult on, plan, and implement policies and guidelines that affect broad, emerging, and/or critical Agency programs.

  • Ensuring base Program funding and requests for increased funding against strategic development plans and Country Development Cooperation Strategies are consistent with development priorities.

  • Working on all issues related to the management of budget and resources, including the development of options and recommendations for requests for, and allocations of, the Agency’s Program budget.
