PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Director of Research Operations is a critical member of the Center for Antisemitism Research team and is primarily responsible for ensuring the quality design, progress, and execution of research projects.

Primary

  • Direct the development of research projects and production strategy.
  • Serve as a key thought partner on the design of research strategy, projects, and agendas.
  • Manage production of research projects to ensure quality over the development life span.
  • Owning the last mile of research projects.
  • Collaborate within CAR and across ADL units to ensure the full range of necessary stakeholder engagement through the research process.

Skills  

  • Strong product and project management abilities.
  • Expertise with research (discipline agnostic).
  • Some knowledge of issues related to antisemitism, Israel and related advocacy.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.
  • Exceptional written presentation skills.
  • Ability to deftly move between strategic vision and small details.

Work Experience  

  • The ideal candidate has multiple years of progressively responsible relevant experience working in action-oriented research.
  • Working knowledge of research methodologies required.
  • Multiple years of experience in guiding research projects from idea to publication.
  • Experience working in similar fields preferred.

Education  

  • BA or equivalent experience required.

Work Environment

  • ADL COVID-19 Protocol (updated periodically) ADL is adhering to public health guidance regarding COVID-19. ADL is a hybrid environment; this role may require 3 days in the office.

Compensation

  • This position has a salary range of $65,000 to $115,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York, New York. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
