Tetra Tech International Development Services (http://www.tetratech.com/intdev) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Director of Administration and Finance (DAF) position for an upcoming USAID-funded, Red Sea Initiative Activity in Egypt. The Activity is anticipated to institutionalize and expand sustainable tourism growth to conserve natural resources in the Red Sea. The Activity will work to fulfill this purpose through three complementary objectives: 1) local communities derive sustained benefits from green growth and conservation, 2) the Red Sea is effectively managed consistent with international standards for sustainability, and 3) investment in sustainable tourism is increased.

The DAF will be responsible for the project’s financial management and administration while ensuring compliance with USAID and Tetra Tech rules and regulations. This will be a long-term, full time position and will be based in Egypt.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline such as administration or international development. A Master’s degree is desirable;

*Minimum of 8 years of experience managing USAID contracts with increasing responsibility

*Experience providing contractual and financial oversight to USAID-funded projects;

*Report writing skills demonstrated through high quality contributions to work plans and progress reports;

*Previous supervisory experience related to providing feedback and guidance to technical and administration personnel, financial management, budgeting, financial systems development and oversight, accounting, payroll, procurement and logistical support services;

*Previous relevant experience in Egypt and/or the Middle East region;

*Knowledge of USAID rules and regulations is higly preferred;

*Excellent Organizational Skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment;

*Fluency in written and oral English is required; Arabic is highly preferred.
