Responsibilities:
- Create and implement HR strategies aligned with Acadia’s overall objectives and culture, tailored to the European market.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leadership on all HR-related matters, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development.
- Collaborate with the global TA team and RPO(s) to implement the recruitment and onboarding plans for all positions across Europe, ensuring a diverse and dedicated workforce that meets the company’s evolving needs.
- Partner with the Talent Development and Engagement team to implement effective talent management programs to identify, develop, and retain top talent within the organization.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment conducive to employee growth, satisfaction, and retention.
- In coordination with HRBP Lead and Legal teams, manage employee relations issues promptly and optimally, promoting open communication and resolving challenges under company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with the Compensation team to design and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages tailored to local market requirements and industry standards.
- Guarantee adherence with local labor laws, regulations, and employment practices across multiple European countries, partnering with legal counsel and external consultants as needed.
- Stay abreast of changes in labor legislation and industry trends, proactively guiding management on potential impacts and vital actions.
- Partner with the People Systems and Operations team to build efficient HR processes, systems, and tools to streamline operations and enhance the employee experience.
- Lead European HR administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required, Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years progressively increasing responsibilities and experience in HR, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, CIPD) is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge of European labor laws and regulations, with experience leading HR functions across multiple European countries.
- Strong critical thinking, with the ability to translate business goals into HR initiatives and action plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and influence collaborators at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of driving organizational change, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High proficiency in HRIS, and other computer systems, software, and platforms
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other major European languages is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Scope:
Establishes strategic plans for designated function(s). Develops methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Works on sophisticated issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of functional areas and related organizational objectives. Erroneous decisions may have a serious impact on the overall success of functional areas and may impact the long-term success of Acadia.
