JOB SUMMARY: Lead the development and execution of International Medical Corps talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies across all areas from entry level to executive level positions including professionals, emergency response, graduates, consultants in all HQ offices and Country Programs.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and maintains an understanding of all aspects of International Medical Corps operational framework, objectives, economic drivers, organizational structure and culture.
  • Create, develop and drive the talent acquisition strategy for all areas of International Medical Corps, with a focus on proactive candidate sourcing that will result in attracting and retaining a diverse pipeline of qualified candidates for all open positions
  • Manage and oversee the recruitment team’s sourcing activity to build and sustain a strong talent pipeline
  • Engage effectively with all stakeholders in the strategic resource planning process.
  • Build a strong employer brand for International Medical Corps in order to develop strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients, the market, competition and emerging trends within the sector
  • Innovate and experiment with new approaches to candidate sourcing
  • Research, leverage and optimize technology to automate and streamline sourcing, recruiting and hiring processes
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, colleges and emergency response partners
  • Work with key business stakeholders to develop engaging and creative recruitment campaigns to raise awareness of International Medical Corps in the marketplace
  • Partner with HR business partners on the training of hiring managers in the areas of talent assessment, recruitment tools, and unconscious bias
  • Collaborate with other departments to continually assess and improve the effectiveness of recruiting and talent development/training across the organization
  • Develop and manage a clear set of measures to analyze, forecast, track and communicate results and challenges to the senior leadership team
  • Work closely with all functions to understand and link internal talent profiling processes with recruitment process
  • Manage the end to end recruitment process, ensuring all applicants receive timely feedback and a first-class experience

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Typically, a Master’s degree in HR Discipline. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
  • Typically, 10+ years of relevant and progressive experience in Human Resources with a specialization in talent acquisition
  • Desirable experience in NGO
