Here’s where you come in:

As Director – Cash and Market based Programing, you will lead the entire World Vision International (WVI) Partnership towards the World Vision International organizational commitment, as outlined in World Vision Cash Roadmap 2, with the overall goal “to reach at least 11 million disaster and conflict affected people (out of which 6 million will be most vulnerable children) via cash voucher assistance by 2027, which represents 55 % of our humanitarian disaster portfolio spent. In addition, we also aim at supporting poverty-affected children, their caregivers, and communities via cash or voucher-facilitated programmes in 40% of child sponsorship-countries by 2027.”

Requirements include:

  • Masters in Business, Economics, Analytics, Leadership, and other relevant fields.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in the areas of Cash and Voucher programming including in a global setting.
  • Experience in leading and directly supporting the design, implementation, and monitoring of large-scale cash and voucher programming
  • Experience in engagement with external cash actors like clusters, cash working groups, interagency forums, collaboration platforms, etc.
  • Experience in World Vision’s Area Program Approach especially Sponsorships Programming
  • Field Experience in humanitarian emergency response
  • Manage/lead teams in humanitarian and development setting.
  • English is required. French and Spanish preferred.
  • At least 30% travel including to fragile contexts/countries
  • Able to frequently travel and attend meetings, and travel to field programs including the high-insecurity environment.

Compensation For US-based Candidates:

For positions filled in the United States, the typical salary range for this role is USD 98,644 to USD 123,305. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity, and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
