Here’s where you come in:

As the Director, Accountability & Transparency, you will serve the World Vision (WV) partnership with strategic direction and technical leadership to strengthen and balance World Vision’s accountability to its external stakeholders, with a focus on championing, and overseeing consistent implementation of, accountability to children and communities, in line with World Vision’s community-empowering distinctive and ensuring compliance with WV policies, including the Child and Adult Safeguarding Management Policy and Anti-Corruption policy.

You will also provide direction on how World Vision shapes and responds to sector expectations around INGO transparency and accountability, such that we build trust and reputation with key partners, model accountability and transparency to governments and all actors who have power to contribute to the well-being of the most vulnerable children.

Requirements include:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Science, International Development, Business or Communication.
  • Proven experience managing successful teams in Development and/or Humanitarian Operations.
  • Proven experience in interaction with senior leadership and in detailed reporting and analysis.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative networks and successfully negotiate alliances for intended objectives.
  • Detailed understanding of the regulatory environment for not-for-profit organisations, especially on transparency, anticorruption and PSEA, based on practical experience.
  • Experience leading teams in a cross-cultural environment.

  • The position requires the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time for deployments.
