Digital Learning Apprentice – Learning and Organisation Development
Location: UK Flexible
Contract: 23 months fixed term contract – 35 hours per week
Salary: Year one – £16,364, Year two – £17,553 (plus £3344 london weighting if applicable)

You’ll help to design and deliver quality, accessible and inclusive digital learning solutions, which will greatly improve how our people develop, grow and do their roles successfully at the British Red Cross.

How you’ll make a difference…**

Reporting to the L&OD Business Development Manager, the post holder will complete the L3 Learning & Development Practitioner Apprenticeship (23 months, including 20% of contracted hours in off-the-job learning).

You’ll provide digital learning support across the suite of learning initiatives, programmes and projects in line with British Red Cross’ strategic goals, to develop capability building for our people across the organisation.

– Learning Delivery and Design – scope and agree learning and development needs, and design them into creative resources for our people (games, webinars, podcasts, animations, videos, and other bite sized materials)
– Programme coordination and management – including administration, managing communications, learning event management, user support etc
– Learning evaluation and data insight – capture, maintain and analyse the learning data to improve learning and development methods.
– Inclusion and diversity – make learning more accessible for everyone across the organisation.
What you’ll bring to the role…

You’ll commit to undertaking 23-month L3 Learning & Development Practitioner Apprenticeship, inclusive of End Point Assessment (18 month course and 5 months to complete your End Point Assessment)
This involves spending 20% of contracted hours in off-the-job learning.

You’ll have an interest in learning and development, as well as the harnessing of digital technology to support the development of people.
You’ll be a great communicator, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisations.

As this post is an apprenticeship, the post holder must:**

  • Have the right to live and work in the UK;
  • Have been a resident in the UK for the preceding 3 years;
  • Be over 16;
  • Be based in England
