Koita Foundation (www.koitafoundation.org) is a not-for-profit organization founded 5 years ago by Rizwan Koita and Rekha Koita. Rizwan is the co-founder of CitiusTech (www.citiustech.com), a global leader in healthcare technology and one of the Unicorns in India. Rizwan (an alumnus of IIT Bombay and MIT) is the recipient of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2013) and the recipient of the 2002 Indo-American Society’s ‘Young Achievers Award in Business’. Rekha (recipient of IIT Bombay’s Distinguished Services Award in 2019) is a corporate trainer and specializes in business process consulting. Koita Foundation focuses on two key areas – Digital Health and NGO Transformation.

Digital Health: KF partners with leading academic institutions, hospitals, healthcare technology companies, and NGOs to drive Digital Health adoption in India. In 2021, KF partnered with IIT Bombay, India’s #1 academic institution, to establish the Koita Centre for Digital Health (www.kcdh.iitb.ac.in). KF is working on multiple Digital Health initiative on a national scale, including supporting the Government of India’s ABDM initiatives and their roll-out.

NGO Transformation: Koita Foundation works with NGOs with proven operating models and collaborates with them to scale effectively. KF helps NGOs to digitally transform their operations and use advanced data and analytics to drive organizational performance and impact, which are key success factors for sustainable growth. KF today works with over a dozen NGOs across healthcare, education, and livelihood segments.

EXPECTED ROLE

· Work with Koita Foundation (KF) leadership to establish Digital Health partnerships and programs (e.g., Koita Centre for Digital Health at IIT Bombay)

· Drive overall success of specific Digital Health partnership including engaging with the partner leadership team, tracking overall plans, helping debottleneck where needed

· Leverage key external stakeholders (e.g., state/federal governments, hospitals, health insurance companies) for the success of the Digital health programs

· Track overall impact of the programs on KF partners and other stakeholders

· Participate and lead other KF Digital health activities e.g., support creation of a Digital Health ecosystem in India, participate in events/ conferences to learn and share best practices, recruitment, and training

DESIRED PROFILE

· Excellent academic background with over 12-15 years of experience

· Strong program management experience including complex programs involving multiple stakeholders

· Excellent communication skills – spoken, written

· Ability to engage and build relationships with senior professionals across sectors e.g., corporates, academia, hospitals, government

· A strong understanding of healthcare and technology is highly preferred

· Experience in areas like management consulting, business development preferred
