Are you a Digital Content Producer with strong Russian and English writing skills looking to use your expertise to support our mission for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all?

Job Purpose:

Working with the Eastern Europe and Central Regional Office, the Digital Content Producer will coordinate, script, produce and edit creative, targeted, broadcast-quality audio-visual outputs for internal and external outlets and others that reflect Amnesty’s organisational and campaigning priorities in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

This post requires creative thinking, digital content production skills, the ability to lead or collaborate on shared creative visions and timely reaction to news events.

About You:

You will have a strong track record in audio-visual content production (Adobe Creative Suite) and excellent video editing skills using Adobe Premiere with After Effects experience desirable. With a demonstrated ability to work in a multilingual context and manage a multilingual digital presence to identify strong stories. With robust writing skills in Russian and English, Ukrainian and other regional languages are desirable for this post.

You will have a good understanding of current and emerging copyright issues, ethical considerations regarding video or audio recording of individuals and licensing agreements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and capitalise on trending topics that lead to the production of digital assets, including short videos, infographics, graphics and social media posts.
  • Upload web materials to the reginal website and ensure that web content is kept up to date, accurate and in line with organisational policy (knowledge of WordPress).
  • Fact-checking to ensure all content is on point and on brand and that assets used are either fully cleared or credited in accordance with
  • Amnesty International guidelines.
  • Ensure all original Amnesty International material filmed in the field is logged – specifically supporting the development of Amnesty’s digital asset management system – ADAM.

SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE:

  • A strong track record in audio-visual content production (Adobe Creative Suite) and excellent video editing skills using Adobe Premiere with After Effects experience desirable
  • Proven ability to deal sensitively and ethically on human rights issues and with victims of human rights violations, in the context of audio-visual digital production work.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strong stories and robust writing skills in Russian and English. Ukrainian and other regional languages desirable.
  • Good understanding of current and emerging copyright issues, ethical considerations regarding video or audio recording of individuals and licensing agreements.
