Strong Unix , Shell scripting skills with ability to log in to
different Application servers ( Weblogic, Jboss and Tomcat in
specific) for troubleshooting, Application deployment and
setup, checking the logs, apply permissions etc
Strong database skill with Oracle SQL should be able to
interpret data model, writing sql queries, procs and functions,
should able to write medium to complex DML and DDLs
Previous experience in Application upgrade projects like
upgrading from one java version to another, or upgrading form
one server stack to another stack is a big PLUS
Experience with Oracle Report Server is a big PLUS
Experience with Majesco Products is a big PLUS
Experience in Insurance Domain is a big PLUS
Strong experience with Spring based application
development ( Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security )
Experience building Web Services(JSON, SOAP, REST, JAX-RS,
Java)
Experience with agile development methodologies , good
understanding of refinements, story planning etc
Collaborate with team members on best practices, code
reviews, internal tools and process improvements
Independent, self-starter and very proactive
Should be able to hit the ground running with little technical
assistance
Ability to take the lead and also mentor and help others in the
provided by Dice
