What You’ll Do
Provide superior customer service as defined by Di Bruno Bros. within the scope of Company policy.
Perform cashier reconciliation, cash handling and daily cash balancing, communicating all variances to management
Assist to develop and maintain Standard Pricing Procedures
Assist to train staff on best practices related to customer service, cash office procedures, and personal shopping procedures
Ensure the maintenance of accurate and efficient databases and a smooth flow of information throughout the store and Company
Answer customer service calls and assist customers as necessary
Responsible for both daily and weekly financial reporting
Track all money going in to and out of the store safe
Responsible for maintenance of shelf tags including but not limited to ensuring proper pricing
Perform scanning and pricing verifications
Enter interdepartmental transfers, inventory data and shrink data
Responsible for database management in BR Data, Smart X and Chef Tec
Responsible for production, distribution, and upkeep of sales store signage based on monthly merchandising plan
Create schedule for both cash office and curbside employees
Collaborate with Front End Team Leader to analyze and investigate cashier scorecard and make action plans
Assist in the development and update of order guides, items, menus, and costs
Work directly with Retail Store Team Leader & Front End Team Leader to oversee the in-store hiring process, including onboarding setup, training, and performance feedback.
Provide retail/cashiering support as required during peak hours to help with customer flow
Assist to communicate and manage DB Brand standards with external vendors and monitor vendor process & performance to ensure maximum customers satisfaction
Other duties as assigned.
About You
One to three years of equivalent experience and training
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to think critically
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and fellow Associates
Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store
Ability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business

Compensation: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
