DevOps Engineer

Evolvice GmbH is a German software services provider with development hubs in Egypt (Cairo) and Ukraine (Kyiv, Uzhhorod) and well-known companies such as Robert Bosch GmbH, Porsche AG, the WTS tax consulting AG, etc. as customers. Currently, we are searching for a Senior DevOps Engineer with experience in VMware technologies. We are looking for an active, responsive, and devoted person.

Requirements

– 4+ years of strong hands-on system administration experience with Linux/Windows operating systems, virtualization and IP networking.

– Experience with system engineering and administration.

– Experience with ANY of the VMware technologies – vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize, vCloud, or WS1.

– Experience in troubleshooting technical issues across the OSI layers.

– At least Upper-Intermediate English (all internal communication is in English).

Good To Have

– Experience with Bash/PowerShell and Python scripting.

– Experience with configuration management tools, one or many of the following: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and SaltStack.
