Job Summary:

The Middle Donor Program (MDP) team falls under the Individual Giving department within CRS’ Charitable Giving division. The MDP team oversees engagement and stewardship of donors giving $1,000 – $25,000 annually to CRS. The Officer will serve as a key member of the MDP team and report to the Manager of Middle Donor Program. They will oversee a portfolio of donors who they will be responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding. In addition, they will serve an integral role in collaborating to shape and evaluate the digital donor ex perience and overall donor communications plan. They will contribute to the MDP team goals related to: donor engagement and relationship management, donor pipeline development and diversification, and raising unrestricted funds.

The Officer will serve as the primary liaison for donors in their portfolio and move these donors from a transactional to a relational experience as supporters of CRS. In collaboration with other Charitable Giving teams, they will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality donor experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and cultivate a portfolio of CRS donors giving $1,000 – $25,000 annually

— Cultivate relationships with an assigned portfolio of prospects to understand their philanthropic interests and develop individualized engagement strategies.

  • Personally engage donors via individual phone and email communication.
  • Solicit donors for gifts with a focus on retaining or increasing their unrestricted giving to CRS.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor outreach and solicitation in fundraising CRM.
  • Meet or exceed annual metrics for donor contact and revenue.
  • Oversee team projects and initiatives related to donor communications, systems operations, and program evaluation

— Work with other members of the MDP team to develop donor engagement strategies including digital, direct mail, and individual donor portfolio management.

  • Oversee project management and related communication with internal teams including Charitable Giving Analytics Team, Annual Giving Team, Digital Giving Team, and others.
  • Help ensure quality donor experience for donors in the Impact Circle donor giving society.
  • Ensure quality data integrity and data entry as it pertains to mass donor communications for the MDP team.
  • Measure, evaluate and provide input on donor communications strategy.
  • Professional development, cross-division collaboration, and other duties as assigned
