As the Development Manager with this fast-growing organization, you will take the first step in a training path to learn the skills to become a senior fundraiser within the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a start-up culture and easily pivots from assignment to assignment. You must have a can-do attitude, the ability to handle multiple projects, strong oral and written communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. The right candidate has a strong awareness of U.S. politics and understanding of the political system.

About the Job:

  • Managing and building large and small donor events.
  • Executing correspondence, including invitations, emails and mailings.
  • Managing contacts, data entry and databases.
  • Leading new donor research and managing toward research goals.
  • Preparing briefings for leaders and surrogates.
  • Other administrative tasks as needed.

About You:

  • Excellent phone manner and presentation skills with ability to manage high-level principals and VIPs.
  • Degree required. You have a four-year degree.
  • Organized. You have the ability to manage short and long term projects with ongoing deadlines.
  • Flexible. You always have a back-up plan and can adjust quickly to sudden change.
  • Supportive. You enjoy being the go-to person for all needs and can multitask in order to make sure things run smoothly.
