Consultancy Contract for “Desk Review on Economy in Moldova”

The Norwegian Refugee Council is soliciting bids from reputable providers, for a Consultancy Agreement for Desk Review on Economy in Moldova. The finals expected outputs are as follows:

  • Review research questions in TOR and map existing sources of evidence
  • Conduct research/interviews / desk review by consultancy firm
  • Identify contrasting data from existing data sources that shows socioeconomic impact
  • Desk Review of Moldova Economy
  • 10–12 page policy brief
  • Presentation Deck with main context elements, key findings, recommendations

How to apply

The procedure for applying for this tender:

All applicants should submit the following to be qualified for the next step of evaluation:

  • A workplan based on the TOR outlining the methodology and a proposed schedule to accomplish all deliverables. The purpose is to show the applicant’s understanding of the TOR and the ability to plan and manage research to ensure delivery of all deliverables. This can include modifications to proposed TOR above to adapt the research based on applicant’s expertise. This should be 1-2 pages maximum.
  • Two samples of previous work that demonstrate the applicant’s ability to conduct research and produce professional publications. Examples covering socio-economic topics and context in Moldova are preferred. Examples of published work and commissioned work (evidence by contract, PR, or TOR submitted as well) are particularly relevant.
  • A financial offer outlining the total cost based on workplan.
  • CV of the applicant(s).
