Design Engineer

Scope and Purpose:

• The design Engineer needs to produce high quality design solutions in response to project requirements. In addition the job holder provides technical support to sales & proposals personnel, service personnel and manufacturing, purchasing and project management.

Key Result Areas & Responsibilities:

• Planning, and support for customer projects
• Design layouts for warehousing, processing and office areas
• Preparation of 2D and 3D drawings for designed layouts
• Design material handling processes according to customer specifications
• Redesign areas to implement new designed processes

Duties:

• Design of automation systems
• Creation of detailed designs in plant and component construction
• Creation of manufacturing documents such as drawings, specifications, parts lists
• Responsible design and solution development with technical layout
• Inquiries and selection of components
• Preparation of technical documentation and installation instructions

Requirements:

• Successful completed studies with a focus on design engineering within the fields of plant engineering, process engineering or materials engineering or qualification as a technician (m/f/d) or technical drawing
• Minimum 4 years’ of experience in relevant field
• Experience in Animation / Character Animation is beneficial
• Detail engineering experience and must be conversant with International Codes and Standards
• Fluency in English is mandatory
• German is an advantage
