At S2R we advocate positive mental health and wellbeing and support staff work/life balance by offering staff access to any of our wellbeing activities, staff skill-swap social activities and flexible, hybrid working arrangements to suit individual home life responsibilities and needs.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Deputy Manager with a focus on business development & operations management. The post holder will need excellent communication skills and be able to efficiently and flexibly support our varied service delivery, across a range of projects and programmes. We’re a small but extremely busy organisation where every day brings new challenges. S2R staff need to be empathetic, creative, adaptable and willing to support and visibly represent S2R at events and activities. All staff are responsible for promoting our service accurately and actively.

Before applying for this post please ensure that you have:

  • Knowledge of and ideally previous involvement in relevant Mental Health and strategic partnerships across Kirklees.
  • Bid writing skills with a proven track record of successful applications.
  • Lead experience of contract management and monitoring.
  • Willingness and ability to work with the Senior Manager to be responsible for delivering and expanding current services and developing new services.
  • Experience of policy and procedure development to ensure that the organisation has suitably robust systems and procedures to support strategic development and service delivery.
  • Experience of being a financial & transactional signatory and willingness to do so in this post.
