WRS Kurdistan team are looking for qualified candidates for the position of ” Deputy CTO” for our Technology client in Erbil.

Main duties

  • Participate in the development of work programs and general executive plans of the company and sections within the jurisdiction.
  • Ensure the implementation of the sections of the plans and programs of work developed.
  • Making decisions on technical problems within the scope of his powers.
  • Supervise all issues related to public safety in the sites in coordination with all engineering and technical departments concerned.
  • Periodic meetings with subordinates in order to explain new trends and amendments to the course of action plans and programs.
  • Continue the study and see what is new in the field of work in particular with a view to assessing the current plans and developing methods and procedures of work.
  • Prepares periodic follow-up reports of the Department’s activities and submits them to CTO.
  • Responsible for the management and successful completion of strategic technology projects and initiatives assigned to the Department. Such initiatives will include technology projects directly serving the residents of Seattle, as well as projects.
  • Assume responsibility for occasional public-facing, high visibility functions within the department.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend technology implementation based on business needs. -Assume duties of CTO as assigned.

Requirements

  • BSc in Communication Engineering.
  • 7 – 10 years’ experience, at least 3 years as O & M manager.
  • Fluent in English, Kurdish, Arabic (Writing and speaking).
  • Planning and development skills -Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively.
  • The ability to make a decision -Ability to analyze obstacles and find appropriate solutions and alternatives in coordination with the Executive Director.
  • High skills in leadership, guidance and evaluation.
  • Ability to innovate new ideas to develop work performance in coordination with the Executive Director .
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to take responsibility for his work and the supervising staff.
  • Seeking to develop and teach others .
  • Flexibility in work -The ability to accomplish the work assigned to him with high quality.
  • Commitment to the completion of tasks and tasks as scheduled.
