Applications are invited for an appointment as Deputy Academic Records & Registration Officer at NUI Galway.

Registry are seeking to recruit a Deputy Records & Registration Officer.

This post is being offered as a specific purpose contract and will terminate when the permanent postholder returns to this post. It is anticipated that the duration of this assignment will be circa 3-6 months.

The Deputy Academic Records and Registration Officer will play a key role in supporting the Academic Records and Registration office in the development and implementation of its Student and Programme Data Quality Project.

To manage the HEA returns, monitor and assess data quality, identify, develop and implement areas of the business where high cost manual processing could be eliminated and replaced by efficient automatic processing.

To support the Academic Records and Registration Officer in the day-to day management of the office and specifically on projects targeted at streamlining and automating processes. The post-holder will also have a role in process improvement initiatives across Registry as a whole.

Salary:

€53788 to €72,919 p.a pro rata (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)

(This appointment will be made on the Grade 5 scale in line with current Government pay policy)
