We are looking for an experienced to support that growth by helping us deliver the right content, to the right customer, at the right time.

In this role, you will own execution of outbound to drive registrations for re:MARS. That includes working cross-functionally with owners to launch best-in-class experiences across email, site merchandising, social media, social media, search, and display ads.

The ideal candidate will have experience executing event . Excellent skills are a requirement, as well as the ability to analyze effectiveness, adapt quickly based on performance, and clearly articulate results to leadership.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of across email, site merchandising, and social media.
  • Partner with our media to deploy across social, search, and display ads.
  • Work with subject matter experts to optimize messaging based on audience type and interest area.
  • Write and review copy for outbound .
  • Own A/B testing roadmap and execution for outbound .
  • Report on performance to goal and areas for optimization at a regular cadence.

A day in the

You’ll be working with the re:MARS event team to build registration forecasts, and make a plan to deliver against those forecasts, align with the team on the plan, and then go make it happen! A lot of time will be spent on digital . An average day might include working on an email in , sending assets and copy to the social media team for posts, and reviewing our media results from the previous week to identify areas for optimization.

The events digital experiences team is responsible for 3 key areas:

  • Owning and registration goals for our largest, highest-profile events
  • Leading the infrastructure and technical vision for our events websites
  • Providing the technology, , and standards that teams across AWS use to deliver best-in-class virtual events.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience creating and executing using a broad portfolio of and channels
  • 1+ years’ experience using a test-and-learn approach to optimization
  • 1+ years’ experience with complex targeting and segmentation
  • Track record to manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in , business, communications OR additional 4+ years’ experience creating and executing using a broad portfolio of and chanPreferred Qualifications
    • Experience building, launching, and reporting on using and SFDC
    • Superior oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
    • Basic HTML and CSS skills, with experience building emails and web pages
    • Apache Velocity email scripting is a bonus
    • Strong analytical skills, and ability to identify KPIs
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage time
    • Has an understanding of digital best practices
    • Enjoys learning, innately curious
    • Not afraid to try new things’driven to constantly improve results
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot and problem-solve

    The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $76k -134k per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
