Job Summary
As a Graduate Trainee, you will deepen your knowledge regarding the business line you are working in and the bank in general to gain experience and seniority to be able to participate to the commercial objectives of the relevant business line. You will be part of the team and become responsible for various tasks to contribute to the team objectives.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Main tasks:
Advising on general and specific corporate banking matters
Drafting and reviewing legal documentation of debt issues as well as relating to general corporate banking matters
Negotiation of legal documentation with issuers (i.e. their legal advisers) or corporate banking clients
Legal support and advice to Debt Capital Market in their correspondence with potential issuers
Control of term sheets, syndication confirmation, power of attorneys relating to new debt issues and other transactions
Executing some administrative activities such as the preparation of final documentation for execution, sending documentation for signature, organizing the prospectus printing, distributing the signed document
Provide support to WM Advisory provided the CIB coverage allows such allocation

Job Profile (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)
Holder of a Master’s Degree in Law or “MBL” type
Strong interest in the area of Corporate Banking, Capital Markets and Structured Finance
Good theoretical knowledge of Corporate & Institutional Banking activities
Minimum 6 months of work experience (internship) with a law firm or a bank
Oral and written communication skills
Analytical skills
Self-motivation, strong team working with the ability to build and maintain good relationships with different contact persons on all hierarchical levels
Discretion and respect of confidentiality
Ability to prioritise workload, sense of urgency and attention to detail, work precisely, fast and well organised under time pressure

Advanced user of Microsoft Office
Fluency in German, English and good knowledge in French
