Our client, a Health Organization, is seeking a Decision Support Analyst with clinical experience to join them for a full time perm engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Create and produce reports, worksheets, and visualizations analyzing medical data
• Interpret user requests and develop into focused, tangible reports and presentations for end-users at all levels
• Assist in modeling, developing, and curating data sources
• Manage new and ongoing projects and processes
• Interact successfully with all levels of the organization

Required:

• Strong problem solving and project management skill
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology and coding systems
• Understanding of systems and data flows
• Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly
• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Healthcare Admin, Finance, Accounting, or other related data-oriented discipline
• 3-5 years’ experience in a healthcare, financial, data, or analytical field

Preferred:

• Competency with SQL Server including the ability to write SQL
• Healthcare Decision Support experience including use of systems such as Performance Manager, EPSi, Strata Decision Support, or Axiom Decision Support
• Understanding of cost accounting theory and process
• Visualization tool competency such as Microsoft Power BI
