Our client, a Health Organization, is seeking a Decision Support Analyst with clinical experience to join them for a full time perm engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Create and produce reports, worksheets, and visualizations analyzing medical data
- Interpret user requests and develop into focused, tangible reports and presentations for end-users at all levels
- Assist in modeling, developing, and curating data sources
- Manage new and ongoing projects and processes
- Interact successfully with all levels of the organization
Required:
- Strong problem solving and project management skill
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and coding systems
- Understanding of systems and data flows
- Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Healthcare Admin, Finance, Accounting, or other related data-oriented discipline
- 3-5 years’ experience in a healthcare, financial, data, or analytical field
Preferred:
- Competency with SQL Server including the ability to write SQL
- Healthcare Decision Support experience including use of systems such as Performance Manager, EPSi, Strata Decision Support, or Axiom Decision Support
- Understanding of cost accounting theory and process
- Visualization tool competency such as Microsoft Power BI
