Crisis Therapist Job Description:
The Crisis Therapist will complete Crisis Assessments during crisis hours, in Union County. Maryhaven in Union County is located at the Mills Center: 715 South Plum Street Marysville, Ohio. The Crisis Therapist will conduct behavioral health crisis assessments, stabilization, crisis intervention, treatment facilitation for adults, children, and families experiencing severe and urgent social, psychological and/or environmental needs. The Crisis Therapist will respond to emergency requests for service including phone calls, walk-in requests for treatment, and referrals from other community sources. Maintain clinical documentation.
- This is a full-time position
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
Crisis Therapist Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social work or
- Master’s degree in Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy required
- One year of more of counseling experience or crisis work preferred
- LSW, LPC, or MFT required
